uh non mi aspettavo a questo. mi aspettavo piu' una cosa tipo i Griffin o i Simpson. ovvero un fumetto per adulti acido e maleducato mascherato con dei disegnetti semplici e brillanti,non so perhé.  invece è una storia per adolescenti. ma piccante e coinvolgente. e non posso nasconder d'aver versato qualche lacrima!

uh je ne m'attendais pas à ça. je m'attendais à un truc genre les Griffins ou les Simpsons. c'est à dire: une BD pour adultes acide et mal-polie deguisé avec des dessins simples et brillantes., je ne sais pas pourquoi. et aufait c'est une histoire pour ado epicé et passionnant. et je ne cache pas d'avoyr versé quelques larmes!

uh i didn't expect this. i was expetting to read something more like the Simposons or the Family Guy, something acid and unpolite dressed up with those tiny and bright drawings, dunno why. but that's a novel for teen instead. a juicy and fascinating comix indeed. and i also cry a bit.

.j'adore cette meuff; sont trait est ce que je repute "le dessin parfait"car  jamais elle ne tombe en faute graphique, elle metrise le pinceau! et ses histoires acides/droles/ironiques me font sentir fière d'etre femme.  d'etre cette tipologie de femme.
et sans parler de ses gouts en question de musique, chapeu bas pour mademoiselle  Tanxxx!

.io adoro questa donna; il suo tratto è quello che io considero "il disegno perfetto" senza mai commettere errori-grafici, e' padrona del pennello! e le sue storie acide/divertenti/ironiche mi fanno sentire fiera di essere donna. di essere questo tipo di donna.
e poi ha dei super gusti musicali, facciamo una riverenza alla signorina  Tanxxx!

.i love this girl. her way of drawing is what i repute bein' perfect 'cuz she never falls in graphic-faults, she's the boss of her paintbrush! and her acid/funny/ironic storyes make me fell proud of bein' a woman. of bein' that kind of woman.
and she's got so good music taste, make a reverence to miss Tanxxx!

.mais comment j'ai pu passer à-coté de ce genie pendant tout ces années??? comment j'ai pu echapper au Charles Bukowski-mixt-à-la-perversion-de-Robert-Crumb de la BD?? il est obsedé par la pornographie, par soi même et par le fait d'accumuler livres et Bds comme dans une bibliothèque. et il ne sort pas pour n'arreter pas de dessiner sa vie en bande-dessinées. c'est un obsessionnel. 'fin bref, tout ce que j'aime.

.ma come ho potuto ignorare un genio del genere per tutti questi anni??? come ho fatto a farmi sfuggire il  Charles Bukowski-ma-con-la-perversione-di--Robert-Crumb del fumetto??  è ossessionato dalla pornografia, da se stesso e dall'obiettivo di riempire la casa di libri e fumetti come in un'immensa biblioteca. e non esce di casa per non smettere di disegnare la sua vita a fumetti. è uno schizzoide. insomma tutto quello che amo.

.how could i've ignored this genious douring all those years??? how could i excape from the Charles Bukowski-with-the-pervertion-of-Robert-Crumb of the comics mouvement ?? he's obsessed by pornography, by himself and by the will to accumulate the more and more book and comics in his house just like in a library. he don't hang out to stay at home to draw his life in a comic book. he's obsessional. at least all that i love.


10) jeffrey brown clumsy

.la prochaine fois que quelq'un me casse le couilles par ce que je ne fais que des BDs autobiographiques et, donc sans interet pour la societé, pas seulement je vais lui donner un gros coup de pied dans le cul mais je vais aussi lui offrir ce livre de Jeffrey Brown que, en 2mots, parle de l'histoire entre l'auteur et une fille qui s'appelle Thérésa. cette BD n'a aucune trame. il y a que Jeffrey et Thérésa et nous on les observes au ciné, à la maison pendant qui font l'amour, au resto, pendant qui ils parlent au telephone, dans une caravàne en train de dormir dans un sac de couchage ou dans un parking en train de regarder les avions qui atterrissent.
il n'y a pas d'action, les dialogues sont simples et le trait est simple et approximatif mais je n'ai pas reussi d'arreter de lire car la vie comme elle est, simple et sans aucun point d'arrivé, me fascine et m'emue plus que mille trames compliquées. peut être que ça c'est que du voyerisme ou peut être c'est de l'amour absolout pour la verité. ou les deux. mais de toute manières Jeffrey Brown est devenu un de mes auteurs préféré.

.la prossima volta che qualcuno mi romperà i coglioni sul fatto che faccio solo fumetti autobiografici e quindi senza interesse per la società, non solo gli daro' un calcio in culo ma gli regalero' questo fumetto di Jeffrey Brown che, in sintesi, parla di una storia tra lui e una tipa che si chiama Thérésa. il fumetto non ha nessuna trama. ci sono solo Jeffrey e Théresa e noi li osserviamo al cinema, a casa mentre fanno l'amore, al ristorante, mentre parlano al telefono, in una roulotte a dormire in un sacco a pelo o in un parcheggio a guardare gli aerei che atterrano.
non c'e' azione, i dialoghi sono scarni e il disegno e semplice e approssimativo. ma non son riuscita a smettere di leggere perché la vita cosi' com'e', scarna e senza un punto d'arrivo, mi affascina e mi emoziona più di mille trame intricate. sarà voyerismo o amore assoluto per la verità. o tutt'eddue. comunque Jeffrey Brown è diventato uno dei miei fumettisti preferiti.

.next time that someone will break my balls because I do only autobiographic-comics without any society interest, first i'll kick his/her ass BUT i'll aslo give him/her this Jeffrey Brown's comic book that, in few words, tells about an affair between him and a girl called Thérésa. the story got no pitch. we got only Jeffrey and Thérésa and we look at them while they go to cinema, while they stay at home making love, while they go to restaurant, while they speak to the telephone, while they sleep in a caravan, or while they stay in a parking staring at the airplanes landing.
there's no action, no juicy dialogues and the way of drawing is simple and approximate . but i couldn't stop reading because the life how it is, simple and without a point of arrive, fascinates and moves me more than a thousand of complicated pitch. maybe this is voyerism or it's a total love for the truth. or maybe it's both. by the way Jeffrey Brown is now on of my favourites comics-autor.

à Londres j'ai achetté quelques BD d Jeffrey Brown...et maintenant que je suis assise la en attente d mon avion je pense que je devrais dessiner au lieu de manger cette (succulente) tarte à la carotte...

a Londra mi son comprata un po' di fumetti di Jeffrey Brown...e ora che son qui seduta ad aspettare l'aereo penso che dovrei disegnare invece di mangiare questa (deliziosa) torta alla carota...
