RD: When did you start Painting/Drawing??
Nicoz: I started drawing since i was a little girl, i used to prefere to spent my afternoons in my room drawing histories rather than stay in the backyard playn' volleyball or whatever. but The decision to start painting as a job came after ! When i was 18.

RD: Where are you from??
Nicoz: i'm italian, from Rome but i live in France since 5years ...

RD: Main art influences??
Nicoz:When i was a teenager i loved Jean Michel Basquiat's work and comic-artists like Charles Burns , Robert Crumb or Julie Doucet, after came the love for Frida Kahlo and the fascination for all the pop-surrealism scene. First of all Mark Ryden or Camille Rose Garcia. But i dig so much also some crazy french artist like Caroline Sury and Pakito Bolino from le Dernier Cri with whom i had some collaborations. Or Stephan Blanquet.

RD: Do you have to get in the "zone" to paint, or do you just jump right into it??
Nicoz:When i paint i need to stay in my creepyest clothes, smoking too much, taking some drugs and eating a lot of chocolate. I need THE good-working music and i must to stay ALONE….so,only after all this component together i can start working.

RD: What kind of Music do you listen to??
Nicoz:When i paint i need something slow and very melodic that i can sing loud and that i could DANCE with some stupid coreography when i'd like to take a break from working (remember,i'm alone when i paint) the best is the WEST SIDE STORY soundtrack , some old ELVIS stuff ,italian 50/60's music or even some Blondie's songs. But outside my work i love powerfoul music like Lunachicks, Turbonegro, the Bobbyteens, Supersuckers, Madball, L7 aaand Motorama (a garage band from italy) but also someting more experimental as the first albums from Sonic Youth , Yo la tengo, Sukia , Violetta Beauregarde and Peaches.

RD: How did you develop your stylle??
Nicoz: I'm still asking myself if i have a style !!! i like to make differents experiences so,sometimes, i do so different things !!!

RD: Do you have any crazy art gallery moments??
Nicoz:at the opening show there are always two kind of people : the people from the opening hour that are friends, interested people or just curious. And those who comes quite at the end of the opening-evening and most of the time they come by chances and that ussualy are the drunk ones that comes inside just to drink and they didn't look at the exhibition and than they keep on telling you that the prices are too high for them, because they are PUNKs !(even if they are dressed with punk-dresses that cost more than my flat-rent !!!)) !!sometimes they are funny but most of the time i just want to kick their ass off my show !

RD: Whats your biggest accomplishment in terms of Art??
Nicoz: to wake up every morning and to still have the willing to paint (shiiit this is such a HIPPY answer !!!)

RD: Do people ever send you pictures of tattoos of your work??
Nicoz: ahaha, not !because if they want to get tattooed one of my work they just ask ! look to believe :
 

RD: What do you think of porn??
Nicoz:i like porn that give a trash view of girls. I dont like blond Playmates with open red mouth. I prefere the zombie from rob rotten's porn of the dead. Those girls suck cocks but after they bite them off !!!!

RD: What kind of boys/girls are you into??
Nicoz:i like tatttoed people, they get me hot. A tattooed skin can change the idea that i've got of one person, even if after knowing a person i could come back on my firt idea cuz the tattoo is not enough to make a person interesting!!!(but for sex-stands tattoos are enough :-p)

RD: What do you think of razordolls.com??
Nicoz: lov' the site, the videos and all the interviews. I enjoy it always so much !

RD: Whos your favorite razordoll??
Nicoz: I dig Brody, Cherry Poppins and Amber

RD: Do you think Porn will ever be an accepted art form??
Nicoz: Eheh i don't think so, I dunno why but people are hurted by the view of penetration even if it's the most natural thing in the world and the most ancient ! (and the most FUNNY !)

RD: What upcoming artists should we look out for??
Nicoz: Oh there are many , so here is a juicy namedropping : the PUNK SURREALISM mouvement , Tanxxx , Rica, Peggy Von Reeth , Chris Bonobo and at last but not least Karotte

RD: Do you like Horror Movies? If so Whats your Favorite??
Nicoz:Oh yes i enjoy horror movies so much ! My fave above all is the house of 1000 corpses by Rob Zombie. So funny and gore at the same time !!!!! but also love the seed of chucky (jennifer tilly must become my wife !)

RD: Whats your opinion on the art scene today??
Nicoz: i dunno about the art scene...i live in a small town by the ocean. I only know my black cat (named Elvis)

RD: Why do you do what you do? What Motivates you??
Nicoz:I'd love to have an agent that find me works or a good gallery that sell my art-work with sooo high prices !and i'd like a loft in nyc with a view on hudson river. But,anyway, i don't think that is money that motivates me to painting... Maybe is the Elvis ghost ?or maybe Aliens took control of my brain...oh, ah !!ggh !!!...cccrrrrrr kkfwzz...ffxzzzzzzz !!!! crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrzz...
